Welcome to MEZnet. By accessing or using any of our services (meznet.com, MEZ Laser, MEZ Cutter and future products), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use our services.

1. Acceptance

By registering, accessing or using MEZnet services, you confirm that: (i) you are at least 13 years old; (ii) you have read and accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy; (iii) you have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction.

2. Service Description

MEZnet is a digital fabrication software suite that includes:

• MEZ Laser — web platform and desktop application for laser engraving image processing.
• MEZ Cutter — design editor and controller for vinyl cutting plotters (in development).
• Complementary services: community gallery, credit system and desktop app licensing.
• MEZ Manager — MEZ Manager — pannello di gestione commerciale: preventivi, ordini, portale cliente e comunicazione officina–cliente.
• MEZLink — MEZLink — relay immagini in tempo reale da dispositivi mobili a MEZ Desktop.
• MEZ Desktop — MEZ Desktop — applicazione nativa che estende MEZ Laser sul computer dell'utente; richiede una sessione attiva.

3. Account Registration

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. EU users between 13 and 16 require verifiable parental consent.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities carried out under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and keep it updated.

4. Credits, Subscriptions and Payments

Registered users receive free credits daily. Anonymous users have limited access to a shared global counter.

Additional credits may be purchased and never expire.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

The Lifetime plan is a one-time payment granting access to the service for as long as MEZnet operates commercially. It does not guarantee perpetual access if the service is discontinued.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our services:

• Credits already used are non-refundable.
• Subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has begun, unless required by applicable law.
• If you experience technical issues preventing use of the service, contact us — we assess each case individually.
• EU users have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases, provided they have not accessed the digital content before exercising that right.

Unauthorised chargebacks may result in immediate account suspension.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use MEZnet services to:

• Upload, process or share illegal, defamatory content or content that infringes third-party rights.
• Infringe copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights.
• Carry out denial-of-service attacks (DoS/DDoS) or any activity that harms the infrastructure.
• Circumvent security systems, authentication or usage limits.
• Scrape, data-mine or access the service in an automated way without written authorisation.
• Use the service or its results to train AI models without authorisation.
• Impersonate another person or entity.

7. Intellectual Property

All MEZnet software, code, algorithms, designs, trademarks and trade names are the exclusive property of MEZnet or its licensors. No licence is granted over our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to access the service.

You retain all rights over images you upload. By uploading content, you grant us only the limited, non-exclusive and revocable licence needed to process and display that content to you.

Processed images are yours. You may use them freely, including for commercial purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

Services are provided 'as is' and 'as available', without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MEZnet shall not be liable for: (i) indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages; (ii) loss of data, revenue or profits; (iii) damage resulting from using processed images on physical equipment; (iv) service interruptions beyond our control.

In jurisdictions that do not allow total exclusion of liability, MEZnet's maximum liability will be limited to the amount paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the event, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MEZnet and its employees, officers and agents from any claim, damage, obligation, loss, liability, cost or debt arising from: (i) your use of the service; (ii) your breach of these Terms; (iii) your infringement of third-party rights; (iv) any content you upload or share through the service.

10. Suspension and Cancellation

We may suspend or cancel your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive activities. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of unused credits or subscriptions, unless the law provides otherwise.

11. Force Majeure

MEZnet shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet infrastructure failures, cyber-attacks, pandemics, governmental acts or interruptions by external service providers.

12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve it in good faith within 30 days through direct communication. If no resolution is reached, the dispute will be referred to mediation before any legal or arbitral proceedings. EU users may also refer to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

I presenti Termini sono regolati dalle leggi del Messico (Estados Unidos Mexicanos), luogo di stabilimento del fornitore; le controversie non risolte saranno sottoposte ai tribunali competenti del Messico. Per i consumatori UE/SEE e del Regno Unito: conservi le tutele imperative dei consumatori del tuo paese di residenza abituale e puoi agire davanti ai tribunali di tale paese. Per gli utenti di qualsiasi altra giurisdizione: nulla in questa clausola ti priva dei diritti irrinunciabili previsti dalla legge del tuo paese di residenza.

14. General Provisions

• Severability — if any clause is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the agreement stays in force.
• Entire agreement — these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
• Waiver — MEZnet's failure to exercise any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
• Assignment — you may not assign these Terms without MEZnet's prior written consent.

15. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance.

MEZ Manager — Condizioni Specifiche

• Dati dei clienti dell'officina: Registrando clienti in MEZ Manager, l'officina dichiara di avere l'autorizzazione a conservare i loro dati. MEZnet agisce come responsabile del trattamento; l'officina è il titolare.
• Pagamenti: MEZnet non memorizza dati di carta. I pagamenti online nel portale cliente vengono elaborati da Stripe, MercadoPago o PayPal in base alla configurazione dell'officina.
• Portale cliente: L'officina genera e condivide i link del portale. È responsabile delle informazioni che espone ai propri clienti tramite essi.
• Archiviazione design: Le immagini caricate sono archiviate in Supabase Storage. MEZnet può eliminare i file degli ordini chiusi o inattivi dopo 12 mesi di inattività.
• Abbonamento: Il Piano Completo è gestito tramite Polar.sh. La cancellazione è effettiva alla fine del periodo di fatturazione in corso; non vengono effettuati rimborsi proporzionali per i periodi non utilizzati.

MEZLink — Condizioni Specifiche

• Relay effimero: Le immagini trasmesse via MEZLink non sono conservate permanentemente sui server MEZnet. Il relay è temporaneo e viene eliminato dopo la consegna confermata o la scadenza del lavoro.
• Disponibilità: MEZLink richiede una connessione internet su entrambi i dispositivi. MEZnet non garantisce latenza minima né disponibilità continua del servizio di relay.
• Sessione collegata: MEZLink richiede una sessione MEZ Laser attiva. L'accesso cessa allo scadere o alla chiusura della sessione.

MEZ Desktop — Condizioni Specifiche

• Licenza: MEZ Desktop richiede un abbonamento attivo o una licenza a vita per MEZ Laser. La licenza è personale, non trasferibile e non può essere ceduta a terzi.
• Aggiornamenti: Gli aggiornamenti sono gratuiti durante il periodo di abbonamento attivo o per le licenze a vita. MEZnet può modificare le funzionalità senza preavviso, sebbene cercherà di comunicare cambiamenti significativi.
• Uso offline: Alcune funzionalità sono disponibili senza connessione internet. Quelle che richiedono la validazione con i server MEZnet necessitano di connettività periodica.

Pagamenti, Abbonamenti e Rinnovo Automatico

CANCELLAZIONE: Per cancellare il tuo abbonamento, accedi al tuo account su Polar.sh o scrivici a soporte@meznet.com. La cancellazione entra in vigore alla fine del periodo fatturato corrente; manterrai l'accesso fino a quella data.

RIMBORSI: I pagamenti degli abbonamenti non sono rimborsabili salvo obblighi di legge. I crediti MEZ Laser non scadono e non sono rimborsabili in denaro. Le licenze a vita sono definitive e non rimborsabili una volta attivate.

VARIAZIONI DI PREZZO: MEZnet notificherà le variazioni di prezzo con almeno 30 giorni di anticipo via e-mail all'indirizzo registrato. Gli abbonati attivi possono disdire prima che il nuovo prezzo entri in vigore.
