Welcome to MEZnet. By accessing or using any of our services (meznet.com, MEZ Laser, MEZ Cutter and future products), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use our services.

1. Acceptance

By registering, accessing or using MEZnet services, you confirm that: (i) you are at least 13 years old; (ii) you have read and accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy; (iii) you have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction.

2. Service Description

MEZnet is a digital fabrication software suite that includes:

• MEZ Laser — web platform and desktop application for laser engraving image processing.
• MEZ Cutter — design editor and controller for vinyl cutting plotters (in development).
• Complementary services: community gallery, credit system and desktop app licensing.
• MEZ Manager — MEZ Manager — panneau de gestion commerciale : devis, commandes, portail client et communication atelier–client.
• MEZLink — MEZLink — relay d'images en temps réel depuis les appareils mobiles vers MEZ Desktop.
• MEZ Desktop — MEZ Desktop — application native qui étend MEZ Laser sur l'ordinateur de l'utilisateur ; nécessite une session active.

3. Account Registration

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. EU users between 13 and 16 require verifiable parental consent.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities carried out under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and keep it updated.

4. Credits, Subscriptions and Payments

Registered users receive free credits daily. Anonymous users have limited access to a shared global counter.

Additional credits may be purchased and never expire.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

The Lifetime plan is a one-time payment granting access to the service for as long as MEZnet operates commercially. It does not guarantee perpetual access if the service is discontinued.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our services:

• Credits already used are non-refundable.
• Subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has begun, unless required by applicable law.
• If you experience technical issues preventing use of the service, contact us — we assess each case individually.
• EU users have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases, provided they have not accessed the digital content before exercising that right.

Unauthorised chargebacks may result in immediate account suspension.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use MEZnet services to:

• Upload, process or share illegal, defamatory content or content that infringes third-party rights.
• Infringe copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights.
• Carry out denial-of-service attacks (DoS/DDoS) or any activity that harms the infrastructure.
• Circumvent security systems, authentication or usage limits.
• Scrape, data-mine or access the service in an automated way without written authorisation.
• Use the service or its results to train AI models without authorisation.
• Impersonate another person or entity.

7. Intellectual Property

All MEZnet software, code, algorithms, designs, trademarks and trade names are the exclusive property of MEZnet or its licensors. No licence is granted over our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to access the service.

You retain all rights over images you upload. By uploading content, you grant us only the limited, non-exclusive and revocable licence needed to process and display that content to you.

Processed images are yours. You may use them freely, including for commercial purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

Services are provided 'as is' and 'as available', without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MEZnet shall not be liable for: (i) indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages; (ii) loss of data, revenue or profits; (iii) damage resulting from using processed images on physical equipment; (iv) service interruptions beyond our control.

In jurisdictions that do not allow total exclusion of liability, MEZnet's maximum liability will be limited to the amount paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the event, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MEZnet and its employees, officers and agents from any claim, damage, obligation, loss, liability, cost or debt arising from: (i) your use of the service; (ii) your breach of these Terms; (iii) your infringement of third-party rights; (iv) any content you upload or share through the service.

10. Suspension and Cancellation

We may suspend or cancel your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive activities. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of unused credits or subscriptions, unless the law provides otherwise.

11. Force Majeure

MEZnet shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet infrastructure failures, cyber-attacks, pandemics, governmental acts or interruptions by external service providers.

12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve it in good faith within 30 days through direct communication. If no resolution is reached, the dispute will be referred to mediation before any legal or arbitral proceedings. EU users may also refer to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Les présentes Conditions sont régies par le droit du Mexique (Estados Unidos Mexicanos), lieu d'établissement du prestataire ; les litiges non résolus seront soumis aux tribunaux compétents du Mexique. Pour les consommateurs de l'UE/EEE et du Royaume-Uni : vous conservez les protections impératives des consommateurs de votre pays de résidence habituelle et pouvez saisir les tribunaux de ce pays. Pour les utilisateurs de toute autre juridiction : rien dans cette clause ne vous prive des droits auxquels vous ne pouvez renoncer en vertu de la loi de votre pays de résidence.

14. General Provisions

• Severability — if any clause is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the agreement stays in force.
• Entire agreement — these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
• Waiver — MEZnet's failure to exercise any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
• Assignment — you may not assign these Terms without MEZnet's prior written consent.

15. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance.

MEZ Manager — Conditions Spécifiques

• Données clients de l'atelier : En enregistrant des clients dans MEZ Manager, l'atelier déclare être autorisé à stocker leurs données. MEZnet agit comme sous-traitant ; l'atelier est le responsable du traitement.
• Paiements : MEZnet ne stocke pas de données de carte. Les paiements en ligne dans le portail client sont traités par Stripe, MercadoPago ou PayPal selon la configuration de l'atelier.
• Portail client : L'atelier génère et partage les liens du portail. Il est responsable des informations qu'il expose à ses clients via ces liens.
• Stockage des designs : Les images téléchargées sont stockées dans Supabase Storage. MEZnet peut supprimer les fichiers des commandes clôturées ou inactives après 12 mois d'inactivité.
• Abonnement : Le Plan Complet est géré via Polar.sh. La résiliation prend effet à la fin de la période de facturation en cours ; aucun remboursement au prorata n'est effectué pour les périodes non utilisées.

MEZLink — Conditions Spécifiques

• Relay éphémère : Les images transmises via MEZLink ne sont pas stockées définitivement sur les serveurs MEZnet. Le relay est temporaire et supprimé après livraison confirmée ou expiration du travail.
• Disponibilité : MEZLink nécessite une connexion internet sur les deux appareils. MEZnet ne garantit pas une latence minimale ni une disponibilité continue du service de relay.
• Session liée : MEZLink nécessite une session MEZ Laser active. L'accès cesse à l'expiration ou à la fermeture de la session.

MEZ Desktop — Conditions Spécifiques

• Licence : MEZ Desktop nécessite un abonnement actif ou une licence à vie pour MEZ Laser. La licence est personnelle, non cessible et ne peut être transférée à des tiers.
• Mises à jour : Les mises à jour sont gratuites pendant la période d'abonnement actif ou pour les licences à vie. MEZnet peut modifier les fonctionnalités sans préavis, bien qu'il s'efforcera de communiquer les changements significatifs.
• Utilisation hors ligne : Certaines fonctionnalités sont disponibles sans connexion internet. Celles nécessitant une validation avec les serveurs MEZnet requièrent une connectivité périodique.

Paiements, Abonnements et Renouvellement Automatique

RÉSILIATION : Pour résilier votre abonnement, accédez à votre compte sur Polar.sh ou écrivez-nous à soporte@meznet.com. La résiliation prend effet à la fin de la période facturée en cours ; vous conservez l'accès jusqu'à cette date.

REMBOURSEMENTS : Les paiements d'abonnement ne sont pas remboursables sauf obligation légale. Les crédits MEZ Laser n'expirent pas et ne sont pas remboursables en espèces. Les licences à vie sont définitives et non remboursables une fois activées.

CHANGEMENTS DE PRIX : MEZnet notifiera les changements de prix au moins 30 jours à l'avance par e-mail à l'adresse enregistrée. Les abonnés actifs peuvent résilier avant l'entrée en vigueur du nouveau prix.
